I was just wondering if the driver just simply goes home and back to work when it’s time for them to pick up. Possibly some driver has to drive kids for their school trips as well but I want to know what bus drivers are normally do after their pick ups and drop off in the morning .

I want to covnert an old diesel school bus into an rv. I want to run the RV on biodiesel. My guess is it will end up being a late 80’s to early 90’s bus. I am going to spend a year traveling the country and am trying to figure out how much I need to set aside for gas. If anyone knows what range of MPG I can expect it would go a long way to helping me make more accurate calculations. I don’t want to waste my money at a school and the company training is a joke. The bus company offered to train me to get my CDL B and drive bus for them. So I figured I would do some time driving bus and then move up to the big leagues lol sort to say. So how hard is the transition from bus driver to tractor trailer driver?

Well This has happens 2 times already in a couple of weeks and 1 of them is today. I missed my bus. My mom has to come and pick me up.The school is really far away from our house so she can’t come many times and she agot mad at me today.
I am usually very attentive when they call buses on the speaker. We write what they call out on the board so we can just look up on the board. I was listening and looking up on the board but they didn’t call my route. I had been asking many friends but they all agreed that they hadn’t called my route. When I asked the guy that was calling them out he said it had already left so i got mad because I knew my mom would have to go a long way to come pick me up but I really want to prevent this in the future so what are ways to prevent missing my school bus in the afternoon?
Maybe im double busing I don’t know. And I dont think I can pay any more attention and i DO write them down myself too so theres nothing I can really do.
